Malta National Aquarium



Malta and its smaller islands are now considered to be a popular destination for those who love scuba diving.

Staying on the theme of the underwater world, the National Aquarium is a popular destination for tourists visiting Malta. The Aquarium covers an area of over 20,000 square meters, hosts 41 tanks with Mediterranean fish species including those that inhabit the Maltese seas. During your visit you can also admire various species of insects, reptiles, and amphibians.

Of the 41 tanks, there is the main one, which has a diameter of 12 meters and a tunnel that allows the visitor to be able to enjoy the marine life from a close distance. In this tank it is possible to admire the different species that inhabit the environments of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Always through the tunnel of this huge tub, to make to keep your eyes up, they think of the large predators such as leopard sharks, Blacks Sharks, Sharks  Bamboo and Sharks Zebra.
